The crucible of slavery is marked by both progress and suffering, leaving an indelible mark on humanity as we continue to grow and learn from our past. Humanity has progressed as we learn to embrace rather than isolate, fostering key characteristics such as empathy, love and kindness, or so we thought.
"EONS" showcases how slavery is ever-present as the oppressed are hidden away in plain sight while their oppressors put on a facade, creating the illusion that humanity as a whole has progressed socially when, in reality, the only thing that has changed over time is the form of slavery itself. This collection challenges our systems and beliefs of our own progression as a human race as we dive into slavery in the past, present and, as we continue to lose touch with our humane selves, our future.

My design philosophy stems from my peculiar way of thinking as I aim to blur the lines of societal standards. Societal issues often inspire my creative process with the blend of the art of storytelling, as clothing is not only an accessory but also a medium of art and expression.
With every collection, I often challenge myself to use different silhouettes and textures to evoke various feelings and emotions to amplify the connection to my concept further.
