OUROBOROS' is a fashion collection inspired by two films, Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989) and Alien (1979). The collection explores the films' themes of transhumanism by desiring to reach an evolutionary state beyond their biological means. To be the perfect immortal organism, as explored in Alien. While Tetsuo embodies the consequences of industrialisation, inhibiting humans from acting on their natural instincts. With our increasing distaste for existing as a human being in the present day, we choose to engage in transhumanism to perpetuate our natural relationships with being ourselves. As a result, our post-modern existence is in a state of ouroboros.
