Minda Kita

Category
Design for Health & Wellness

Minda Kita is a family-centred mental health campaign aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in the Malay community in Singapore. Studies show that 69% of Malays seek alternative healing over medical intervention, often attributing mental health struggles to black magic or dismissing them as signs of weakness or crazy. This event fosters open discussions in a familiar setting—through food, entertainment and bonding activities—to encourage understanding and support within families. By creating a safe space, Minda Kita empowers the community to prioritise family and mental well-being, bridging the gap between traditional and professional mental health care.

Nur Sabrina Bte Md Shaharuddin

Hello, I’m Sabrina! With nearly seven years of experience in design, I’ve always been passionate about how design can communicate ideas and emotions. Since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by how visuals tell stories and connect with people. My design philosophy centres on clarity, purpose and impact—every element should be intentional and meaningful. I believe great design goes beyond aesthetics; it bridges emotions and ideas, creating meaningful experiences.
