Design for Sustainability

“Aiya, 3D printing is sustainable what!” While often praised as a faster, affordable, and sustainable solution, 3D printing has a hidden downside—failed prints and excessive support structures. These remnants, often dismissed as "failures", are the byproducts of creative freedom, quietly contributing to the growing plastic waste problem.

Im:Perfectly steps in where it unveils how failed 3D prints are a hidden waste hardly anybody notices and talks about, it challenges the perception of failure, transforming scraps into opportunities for value and personalisation. Through creativity and innovation, we redefine 3D print waste as a resource and turn imperfections into meaningful, sustainable creations.
