Transitional Thresholds

Category
Responsible Consumption and Production

Transitional Thresholds challenges the status quo on how underutilised spaces in Singapore can accommodate responsible consumption and production practices while addressing site constraints.

The project aims to preserve the grandeur of the terminal building while reinforcing a sense of identity and ownership of Old Kallang as a historic aviation site while educating users on the importance of sustainable food practices.

The project's concept explores the themes of "arrival" and "departure," which are driving forces for the user experience interwoven with the movement of the circular economy, which is highlighted through interior programmes.
