Responsible Consumption and Production
Our loss of connection with where our food comes from has led to a lack of empathy for the journey our food takes from soil to plate, ground to sky, in and beyond Singapore.
Housefarm aims to promote and encourage the consumption of local produce by educating and engaging the public in the early stages of our food cycle, utilising dynamic movement and in-between spaces to stimulate the senses, tying back to the visitor's gastronomic experience. It combines traditional and urban farming methods to supply local produce in its in-house restaurant, kitchen workshops and other local aviation catering facilities.

Well-designed spaces can influence the way people move, feel and act. It can reflect, accentuate and embrace its users' personalities. But regardless of walls and borders, life will take its place in uncontrollable ways. The design of spaces can only get as powerful as much as its users allow. Doing meaningful work goes beyond just designing spaces; it also involves being a part of the conversation, engaging, and interacting with people beyond the studio. To understand the values and beliefs of many, the same principles shape how we physically express the structures of our society.
