Sustainable Cities and Communities
LIFEBLOOD aims to preserve Singapore's fading movement arts, such as Chinese Opera and Wayang Kulit. Inspired by the Mandarin phrase, "心血", which embodies dedication, effort, and care, the project honours the devotion behind these art forms.
Through an immersive interplay of light and shadows, users are drawn into a world of silhouettes, deepening their engagement beyond passive observation.
Designed as an intergenerational learning space, the intervention bridges youth and elders, catalysing mutual learning and skill exchange. LIFEBLOOD seeks to safeguard cultural heritage by strengthening these connections while nurturing a compassionate and resilient community.
Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design
I believe the present holds the most significant potential for meaningful change and should take precedence over an uncertain future. My inclination towards design stems from a desire to address today's complexities by identifying challenges in the built environment. Design is an opportunity to redefine human relationships, shaping spaces that serve communities.
Beyond function, I thrive on creating narratives that foster a deep connection between users and spaces, softening the disruptive nature of construction. By weaving meaning into design, I aim to craft environments that resonate with and respond to people - framing architecture to be more intuitive, empathetic, and impactful.
