Responsible Consumption and Production

The Nuovo project envisions a sustainability-focused resort in Singapore that seamlessly blends relaxation with sustainable practices on food waste. The resort transforms food waste into design elements, workshops, and culinary experiences. Through interactive upcycling workshop activities and zero-waste dining, guests engage with sustainability firsthand, gaining hands-on knowledge on minimising waste and maximising resource efficiency. The resort aims to create a meaningful connection between luxury and self-responsibility, inspiring guests to adopt sustainable practices beyond their stay.

Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design

Yeong Jing Wen

I envision interior design as creating spaces that speak their story and purpose. Every element within a space should evoke meaning through materials, form, or function. I am passionate about learning and exploring how design can influence behaviour, enhance experiences, and promote sustainability. By continuously learning and experimenting, I aim to create impactful, immersive, and deeply connected spaces for the people and communities they serve.
