Design for Good
The Shantom project explores the emotional impact of pet loss and sea scattering, offering a meaningful and sustainable urn designed for grieving pet owners, particularly DINKS (Dual Income, No Kids). Inspired by an oil-lit lamp, the floating urn provides a reflective moment before farewell, helping owners find comfort and closure in the process of letting go.
Accompanying the physical product is a digital platform that enables users to share memories, access services, and connect with like-minded individuals. Through emotional design, cultural insights, and material experimentation, this project creates a respectful and supportive farewell experience, honouring the deep bond between pets and their owners.

I'm a designer who combines empathy and experimentation to create meaningful, human-centred experiences. Passionate about emotional design, I focus on crafting solutions that genuinely resonate with users personally. From research to execution, my work aims to enhance everyday interactions through thoughtful and sustainable design.
Inspired by my time at Temasek Polytechnic, I believe great design goes beyond aesthetics—it tells stories and fosters genuine connections. By balancing form, function, and cultural sensitivity, I strive to create products that enrich lives and leave a lasting impact. I aim to design intuitive, memorable experiences that help bridge users with their communities.
