Design for Good
Feathered Deterrents is designed to deter nuisance birds like pigeons, mynahs, and crows from areas such as coffee shops and HDBs by utilising the reflective properties of CDs. These CDs are broken into fragments and mounted onto various shapes across the walls and ceilings. Wind—natural and from fan sources—causes them to spin, reflecting light to scare away birds. This solution allows the birds to coexist outside while keeping certain areas free from their presence. It's a non-invasive, eco-friendly method to manage bird activity without causing harm.
