Foundation is a game for 2-4 players, bringing together a mix of volunteers and seniors who take turns building iconic Singapore structures on a balancing plate that must be kept steady. Players begin by choosing which buildings to construct using a variety of cards. Once the game starts, they each roll the dice to determine how many blocks to place during their turn—carefully adding these to the balancing plate without tipping it over.
Foundation's main purpose is to train seniors' hand dexterity by using tongs to pick up blocks and carefully place them on the balancing plate. The game also encourages meaningful interaction—after everyone has taken their turn, players answer a trivia question designed to spark conversation between seniors and volunteers.

Hi, I am a 22-year-old product designer passionate about creating innovative and user-centered solutions. I am particularly drawn to the tangible aspects of design, with a keen interest and proficiency in 3D modelling. This fascination extends beyond simply creating visually appealing forms; I strive to understand the underlying mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes that bring designs to life. My coursework has given me experience in various design methodologies, from initial concept sketching and ideation to prototyping and final product development. I am eager to apply my skills and contribute to real-world projects, constantly seeking opportunities to refine my abilities and expand my knowledge within the dynamic field of product design.
