Project Background & Description

The existing Organizational Chart Plug-In for Oracle Analytics lacked flexibility and user-friendliness, especially for Human Resource departments. Our project focused on significantly enhancing this plug-in to make it more efficient and tailored to HR needs.

We automated navigation within the organizational charts, making it easier to explore different levels of the hierarchy. Visuals were improved, providing a clearer representation of the organizational structure. We added features like search, expand/collapse, and customizable color palettes, giving HR managers greater control and faster insights. The success of this updated plug-in led to the decision to make it available on the Oracle Extensions Library, enabling other clients worldwide to benefit from these enhancements.
