General Education Fund




Temasek Polytechnic (TP) strives to ensure that all its students are able to enjoy a well-rounded education regardless of their financial background, and to reward exceptional talent and contributions. To achieve this, a TP General Education Fund (TPGEF) was set up on 1 April 2003 with the following objectives:



To provide scholarship, bursaries and other aid schemes to students;

To support student education-related projects/activities;

To support student and staff exchange with industry and other institutions;

To bring renowned experts, lecturers and speakers to TP;

To provide seed funding to set up centres of excellence in strategic areas of teaching and research;

To promote the continuous training and development of staff; and

To do all things necessary or appropriate to promote and fulfil the mission of TP.
