Singaporean windsurfer Reynold Chan eyes SEA Games medal after four-year hiatus

Reynold Chan, a former SEA Games and Asian Games windsurfer, quit the sport in 2019 due to falling grades and his coach's departure. However, after graduating from Temasek Polytechnic and completing national service, he returned to windsurfing in 2023 through NTU's windsurfing club. Chan quickly found success, winning the men's division at the Singapore Open Windsurfing and Foiling Championships in February 2024 and competing in the European Windsurfer Championships in Italy. With his academic life now more stable, Chan is eyeing a spot at the 2025 SEA Games, hoping to build on his recent performances and aim for a podium finish.
