Lasalle students produce environment-inspired fashion

Nur Rynna Shazrina Mohammed Iskandar uses fashion art as a visual outpour that reflects his sensitivity to the natural environment, which was also part of her final year project at the Lasalle Arts School. The Temasek Polytechnic graduate said she discovered that there are more than 255,000 tons of textile waste in Singapore alone and only 2% of it is recycled. This encouraged her to take the opportunity to do this year-end project as an opportunity to bring change, to contribute to awareness of the increasing issue of textile waste.
