Overview
IE Singapore’s Young Talent Programme-Market Immersion
The YTP-Market Immersion aims to provide opportunities for young talents to gain global exposure and market immersion experience that will prepare them to take on future global careers.
Students who are awarded funding from Temasek Polytechnic (TP) for participating in internships/industrial attachment programmes, Overseas Immersion Programme and hybrid work-and-study programmes may be eligible for co-funding from International Enterprise (IE) Singapore under the Young Talent Programme (YTP) - Market Immersion to cover their daily overseas living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who fulfil the following requirements may be eligible for YTP - Market Immersion funding:
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Students must have completed at least 1 year of diploma studies at the point of commencing the overseas programme
- Students must have cleared their School’s selection process for the respective overseas programme
- Students must not hold any external scholarship or award which provides funding for subsistence allowance for the same overseas programme
Student Application Process
Students should approach and discuss with their respective School OSIP/SIP Coordinators to learn more about the overseas opportunities available. The staff would be able to advise students on their eligibility for the YTP-Market Immersion programme and provide guidance on their application.
The YTP-Market Immersion funding application is subject to IE Singapore’s approval. Successful applicants will be notified by Temasek Polytechnic. The students are required to sign the Letter of Acceptance and submit to their respective School OSIP/SIP Coordinators if they accept the offer. Temasek Polytechnic will then process the funding for the students.
