TP staff have developed an autonomous intelligent vehicle (AIV) that provides a simple and lean solution for materials transportation on factory floors.  This patent-pending technology can handle payloads of up to 50kg, is fully autonomous and able to navigate narrow spaces with high position accuracy.  M8M Pte Ltd, a local company with its core business in providing solutions and products used in intra-logistics, has been receiving requests from industry clients for autonomous transporter solutions.  In view of this, in July 2018, M8M licensed the AIV technology from TP so as to enhance the company’s capabilities in this area and to expand their product offerings.
