Course Overview

This course aims to provide learners with a good understanding of service types, service quality and quality standards. It also includes total quality management, six sigma, balanced scorecard methodology, types of quality costs & measurements, customer relationship management and data security. 

 

This course is to be completed within 1 month from the date of successful registration.

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Singapore

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have at least GCE ‘A’ level certificate and two years of working experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. 

 

Those who do not meet the minimum educational requirements but have relevant working experience may be considered for entry to the Professional Certificate programme on a case-by-case basis. Similarly those who have higher educational qualifications but do not have relevant working experience in the sector may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Who Should Attend

This course covers the general statistical and benchmarking methods for the context of logistics, with a focus on customer service management. This course is relevant to a large variety of logistics companies that apply (or intend to apply) these tools. It is particularly relevant to companies that handle high throughputs and/or seasonal throughputs, where applications of statistical control and methods would be most beneficial.

  6. Costs of Quality models – Process Cost Model (PCM), Prevention-Appraisal-Failure (PAF) model, Opportunity or Intangible Cost model, Crosby’s Model and ABC model.

Assessment

 

The online quiz consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Unlimited attempts for the online quiz are allowed for participants to reinforce their understanding and achieve the desired learning outcomes.

On completing the online course and quiz, candidates can request for an online examination conducted by CILTS, via email at secretariat@cilt.org.sg.

The online examination consists of 20 MCQs to be completed in an hour. Result will be known immediately. For a repeat attempt - the cost is SGD50.00 per attempt, with no restriction on the number of repeat attempts.

Certification

 

On passing the module’s online examination, candidates will be awarded an e-Certificate of Completion issued jointly by TP and CILTS. 

Candidates will be awarded a Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Professional Development Programme by CILTS on passing SCPD modules 01 to 04. 

Candidates  will be awarded an Advanced Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Professional Development Programme by CILTS on passing SCPD modules 05 to 08.
