Session 1:
Participants will embark on a discovery learning journey to gain insight into the approach to the use of innovative application of technologies, processes and methods.
This includes site visits to selected centres (subject to confirmation) with capabilities in sustainability domains such as:
- Integrative Built Environment Centre (IBEC)
- Clean Energy Research Centre (CERC) & Electric Vehicle Lab
- Centre for Urban Sustainability (CUS)
- Centre for Aquaculture & Veterinary Science (CAVS)
- Centre for Research & Opportunities in Plant Science (CROPS)
Session 2:
Trainee will participate in a series of taster programs delivered in the form of hands-on workshops (subject to confirmation) to deepen participants' understanding of different areas of sustainability such as:
- Energy & Battery Management
- Sustainable Design
- Carbon Footprint & Reporting
- Food & Environmental Sustainability
From the experiential Learning Journey and series of Workshops, Temasek Polytechnic and its Industry Partners aim to collaborate with participants' organizations in understanding the sustainability-related issues and develop plans for staff upgrading and reskilling, as well as to work on Proof of Concept (PoC) Projects and Applied Projects.
Certification
Participants who meet at least 75% of the required course attendance and attempt the assessment will be awarded the Certificate of Performance.
