Ms Lilian Khoo
Lilian is ACLP-certified and has rich experience developing and conducting adult-learning and training courses. She was engaged by the Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau to co-conduct a three-day senior management workshop in Colombo on Public Relations & Crisis Management. She has also delivered a course on handling the media to the top management of the Mongolian government.
Lilian co-developed and trained for the series of Effective Workplace Communications workshops by Public Utilities Board for front-liners and vendors with direct dealings with the public. Other workshops conducted include topics on media management, handling complaints, public speaking and translation.
Lilian is proficient in designing and teaching certified subjects too. As the pioneer batch of Subject Leaders for the SGUnited Skills Programme (SGUP) launched by SkillsFuture Singapore for adult learners, Lilian designed the curriculum for Reports & Business Communication, managed the teaching team and taught the classes. She has also designed micro-learning courses on business storytelling that includes crafting narratives and business pitching. Her regular and active involvement in teaching adult learners helps her to relate well to their learning needs.
Lilian is a certified SME Mentor and is effectively bilingual. Her industry experience is in the media, communications and marketing sectors. She had been invited by the Ministry of Education to judge for the national digital competitions for secondary schools. To date, she continues to part-time with Mediacorp Chinese newsroom weekly, where she remains updated of the industry trends. This in turn, allows her to impart relevant industry knowledge to her course participants who can benefit from her industry network.
