In this entry-level course, you will learn all about programming concepts, including the exciting field of Generative AI. This highly popular course introduces you to coding using the Python programming language through a hands-on and project-based approach.
Python is an efficient and widely used open-source programming language supported on various platforms. In recent years, Python has become one of the most preferred languages in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Learning Python gives you a good head start if you intend to venture into Data Science.
Throughout the course, you will gain an understanding of the fundamental constructs of programming and acquire the skills to develop simple programs, such as data visualization using Python. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to explore the applications of Generative AI by leveraging tools such as ChatGPT, a powerful generative AI model. ChatGPT can assist in research tasks and even generate code snippets, providing a hands-on experience with the capabilities of generative AI.

Participants who meet at least 75% of the required course attendance and pass the assessment will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
Mr Emile Sabastian
Emile Sabastian has a Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology from Australian National University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in System Analysis from National University of Singapore. He has been teaching at Temasek Polytechnic for 13 years and has spent 3 years in the industry as a Systems Consultant. Emile was certified as a Oracle Certified Associate Java Programmer in 2016 and NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) Instructor in 2018. He received his Huawei AI Associate certification in 2021.
